The team at West Coast Poppers wouldn't dare to leave the warehouse without a few Dana's in hand, a diving popper for all occasions and extremely versatile in many conditions on a huge variety of species, an absolute must have in everyone’s bag.
At 165mm long and weighing only 60g, it's a perfect PE3-4 lure for working shallow reef flats and edges for GT and other predators to bombing long casts at offshore workups of Tuna, Mahi-Mahi and other pelagics, the smaller profile of the Dana 60 combined with the same enticing action as the larger models is sure to land some serious numbers of fish on a variety of scenarios, all whilst being one of the easiest lures for anglers to work all day long without the fatigue in comparison to a traditional popper.
With a tapered asymetrical cup face measuring 29mm high and 24mm wide the Dana’s action creates a fluid bubble trail while maintaining a strong tail kick swimming action on the sweep, once you get the timing right you'll be watching the Dana dance subsurface in it's bubble trail with a subtle yet effective bloop on the top at the beginning of each dive.
Solid timber construction with stainless steel through-wire, high quality artwork and a high strength epoxy finish.
Designed to handle oversized terminal. Fit with trebles or singles, or our favourite combination of a belly treble with a tail single (or single assist) to get a stronger tail kick action.
